Where to apply ?  

Shed where the FCL container is lying.

How the submitted application is further processed ?

(i) CHA/Importer obtains customs permission on the copy of Bill of Entry. In addition the CHA submits letter from Vessel Agent authorizing the Port Trust to give delivery of loaded FCL container to party (CMC letter)

(ii) Shed Supdt. compares the container no.in the Bill of Entry with the container no. in the Agents authorisation letter and also verifies Bill of Entry, Customs permission for delivery.

(iii) Shed Sudpt., register the authorization letter and makes entry in the loaded container delivery ledger

(iv) Shed Supdt. hands over to the party Bill of Entry and Shed Delivery Order and original authorisation letter.

(v) CMC Clerk compares the container no. appearing on container with the no. of Shed Delivery Order and authorization letter. He prepares challan in triplicate hand over the copy of challan to the party.

(vi) Party presents Bill of Entry, Delivery challan, to the Gate Inspector.

(vii) Gate Inspector verifies the documents, and he passes the delivery endorsement on that.

(viii) Container is allowed to pass out.

Where to deposit the payment of Port Trust Charges ?

Agents can make  payment of Port Trust charges either at Cash Office, ID which is situated at Ambedkar Bhavan, 2nd floor or at P & V Cash Office or at Cash Office at 1st floor, Dy. Traffic Manager, CFS office.
