How to apply?

Vehicle Permits shall be issued by the Permit Section for all categories of vehicles, which includes Cargo Vehicles, tankers, tempos, Cargo handling vehicles such as Forklift, Mobile Cranes, Container Handling Vehicles such as TLT, Reach Stacker etc.

Transporters or owners of the vehicles shall furnish applications for issuance of Vehicle Permits in the printed format PERMIT/F/024 available at the Permit Section, alongwith a recommendatory letter in format PERMIT/F/025 from the port user who will utilize the vehicle.
