1. What is the procedure for issuance of Daily Dock Entry Permit ?

Port Users desirous of seeking Daily Dock Entry Permit shall submit an application on the Letterhead of their company in the format  PERMIT/F/020 at Annexure “A”, giving details of the name, designation and age of their employee/s and the location and purpose of work

 

2. Where to Apply?

Applicant has to submit application personally at Permit Counters of (i) Shramik Bhavan, Carnac Bunder, P.D’Mello Road, Mumbai 400009 or (ii) Blue Gate, Indira Dock, P.D’Mello Road, Mumbai 400001 between 8.00 am to 5.00 pm at Blue Gate and 8.00 am to 10.30 pm at Shramik Bhavan where photos of the applicants will be taken with the help of digital camera, and daily dock entry Permit will be issued. The signature of authorized signatory of the Port User will be verified on the computer terminal prior to issuance of Permits

 

3. How to make payment?

Rs. 5/- per person (non refundable) to be paid in cash at the locations mentioned above.

 

4. If applicant is a foreign national?

A foreign national can make application on the letterhead of company in the format at PERMIT/F/022. But the permit will be issued by the Permit Section only after receipt of clearance from Immigration Cell of Seaport Branch of Yellow Gate Police Station. 

 

5. If applicant is a family member of Indian crew?    

Permits for family members of Indian crew shall be issued only on submission of applications by the vessel agent giving details of family member and valid Shore Leave Pass of the crew, and such applications shall be endorsed by the Ship Security Officer (SSO) of the Vessel.
