ISSUANCE OF FRESH MONTHLY DOCK ENTRY PERMIT

1.

How to apply?

Port Users desirous of having fresh monthly dock entry permits for their employees shall submit an application in duplicate in the printed format PERMIT/F/013 available at the Permit Section, along with a covering letter duly signed by the authorized signatory

Where to Apply?

Application to be submitted to Asstt. Manager, Permit Section, Shramik Bhavan, Carnac Bunder, P.D’Mello Road, Mumbai 400009

Is 'No Objection Certificate' is required from Police ?

A Police NOC  from Yellow Gate Police Station or Copy of valid passport shall be submitted by the port user along with the application.

Police NOC will be treated as valid for 5 yrs. from the date of issuance.

Applicants holding valid Indian Passports shall be exempted from police verification. 

4. How the application is processed further ? 

On receipt of application/s, the Permit clerk will verify the validity and Monthly Dock Entry Permit Quota of the company and after obtaining orders for issuance of Monthly Dock Entry Permit from Asstt. Manager, Permits, verify the details including name, designation, age, signature of authorised signatory, etc, prepare a Monthly Dock Entry Permit with photograph of the applicant.

The Monthly Dock Entry Permit duly signed by the Asstt. Manager, Permits will be issued after making payment

How to make payment?

Rs. 15/- per person (non refundable) to be paid at Permit Section.

Issuance of DEP for the employees of Government / Semi Government or Public Sector Organisation

Monthly Dock Entry Permit shall be issued to the employees of Government / Semi Government or Public Sector Organisation, only after certification by the competent authority of their organisation, that the employee is required to visit the docks. Such employees shall be exempted from Police verification, provided photocopy of their office Identity card is submitted.
