1.

How to apply?

Port Users desirous of seeking Temporary Dock Entry Permit shall submit an application on the letterhead of their company in the format at PERMIT/F/017 in duplicate.

Port Users desirous of seeking Temporary Dock Entry Permit for foreign nationals shall submit an application on the letterhead of their company in the format at PERMIT/F/022

 Where to Apply?

Application is required to be submitted to Asst. Manager, Permit Section,  Shramik Bhavan, Carnac Bunder, P.D’Mello Road, Mumbai 400009.

How to make payment?

Rs. 5/- per person per day (non refundable) to be paid at Permit Section, Shramik Bhavan. 

4.  How the application is further processed ?

Asstt. Manager, Permit Section who will sanction the number of temporary DEPs to be issued with validity period after assessing the work requirement.

The details of the applicant and the authorized signatory will then be verified and thereafter one copy of the application will be endorsed as Dock entry Permit by franking of seal and stamp and validity date, and will be handed over to the applicant. The other copy of the application will be retained in the office for record.

Is Temporary permit liable to cancel at any moment?

Authorized signatory of the Port Users shall certify and undertake that they are responsible for the good conduct of their employees/workers in the Port Premises and in the event of misuse of Permits, action as deemed fit, including cancellation of the registration will be taken by MbPT.
