Where
to apply ? Vessel Agents / Container Operators submit the
letter to Shed Supdt. |

How
to apply ? Vessel Agent/Container Operator
gives a letter to Shed Supdt. for opening of carting for particular
voyage at their nominated site. |

Where
to deposit the payment of Port Trust Charges ? Agents
can make payment of Port Trust charges either at Cash Office, ID which
is situated at Ambedkar Bhavan, 2nd floor or at P & V
Cash Office or at Cash Office, 1st floor, Dy. Traffic
Manager, CFS office. |

How the submitted Application is further processed? (i) Shed
Supdt. feeds the details in the carting permission menu of IPOS (ii)
Exporter/CHA approaches Shed Supdt. for carting permission after payment
of wharfage in advance on Shipping bill. (iii)
Documents are verified and permission is granted (iv)Asstt.
Shed Supdt (Export) enters the details of export consignment in the Shed
Export Cargo Register. (v)
On verification of documents and physical verification of packages, the
cargo is allowed to pass in by the Gate Inspector.

are the Customs EDI centers situated at outlying areas? Customs
EDI Centres are situated inside Frere Basin, MOD-4 Shed and STP-1 Shed. |
