In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (e) of section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), and in supersession of the existing regulations on the subject, the Board of Trustees of the Port of Bombay, with the approval of the Central Government, as required by sub-section (1) of section 124 of the said Act, hereby makes the following regulations, the same having been previously published in two successive issues of the Official Gazette, as required under sub-section (2) of the said section 124, namely :
1. Short title and commencement –
These Regulations may be called the Bombay Port Trust Employees [Compensatory (City) Allowance] Regulations, 19751.
They shall come into force on the date2 of publication of Government’s sanction in the official Gazette.
