Where
to apply ? Shed where the
container is lying.

How
the submitted application is further processed ? (i) From the
advance list, CMC clerk posts in the shed import container ledger the
list of LCL container of a particular vessel. (ii) Without CLP
in the prescribed format no LCL container is allowed to be destuffed.
Shed Supdt./ Asstt. Shed Supdt. destuff the container on the basis of
seniority. (iii) If any LCL
container is to be destuffed on priority basis only Asstt. Manager can
give permission for destuffing. (iv) Shed Supdt.
checks the physical container seal no. with the seal no. shown in CLP
(v) Sorter marks
vessel name, IGM No. and Item No. on the destuffed packages (vi) Then LCL
container is destuffed under supervision of Asstt. Shed Supdt, tally is
taken with appropriate remarks for damage to package if any (vii) Labour
Supervisor stores the destuffed pkgs. vesselwise and consignementwise
(viii) CMC clerk
counts and checks all the packages destuffed. He verifies if the package
physically lying with the quantity exactly match with the quantity shown
in the tally sheet. (ix) In case of
discrepancies between the CLP and the packages destuffed like excess,
difference in marks etc. report is submitted to Asstt. Manager by Shed
Supdt. in prescribed format. |
