This permission is granted by Deputy Conservator, Mumbai Port Trust, to a person desirous of swimming through Mumbai Harbour during Day light hours only.

How to apply ? The person / Party to submit application on their letter-head mentioning the Name, Age of the swimmer and date of the swimming event and the name of the launch accompanying the event alongwith documents as per Checklist. |

How the submitted application is further processed ? The permission will be granted within 6 working days from the receipt of application subject to compliance of following conditions. a) All precaution including provision for Motor Launches with big visible red flags and medical and first aid to be arranged by the party. b) No Port Trust craft will assist for the above event. However arrangement is made to keep the Apollo Bunder Steps clear. c) No Naval exercise is scheduled to be held is to be directly confirmed by the party from the Naval Authorities for which port would not responsible. d) The aforesaid permission can be cancelled at any time without assigning any reason. |
