How the submitted application is further processed ? The Master of the craft will be examined by the Asstt. Harbour Master with prior intimation. After processing the case and examination of the Master by Asstt. Harbour Master, Pass Pilot Licence is issued within 6 working days from the date of submission of the application. The Licence will be issued to the Master of Barge to ply within Mumbai Harbour without Mb.P.T.’s Pilot during day / night on following terms and conditions. (a) Permission to ply without Mb.P.T. Pilot is upto limit of I.S.V. only and not upto port limit. (b) This permission is granted from _______ to _______ only. (c) This permission will be terminated at any time without any information or notice. (d) Barge should keep the safe distance from arriving /sailing of vessels in the docks or lock gate. (e) Permission will not be granted to change the Master frequently during the period of Pass Pilot Permission. (f) Master of vessel should contact to the Dock Master, Control Station on VHF before plying & for plying within docks area he should contact to Sr. Dock Master, Indira Dock & Dock Master, P & V. Dock. (g) Master should fix the time from Dock Master In charge to ply within dock area. (h) Barge should have the stock of 200 litres of Warren Spring Approved Oil Spill Remover (Dispersant) all the time, which is used at the time of pollution. (i) Barge should maintain contact on VHF Channel No.12 (marine). (j) Only two barges are permitted to stay along side of vessel (one side one only) |
