Steps :

(ii)	Processing Duration	After processing and approval, Harbour Craft Licence will be issued within 10 working days from the date of submission of the application.
(iii)	Application Scrutiny Levels	2 levels scrutiny for all applications

	(a) Vessels Registration Certificate (b) Valid Survey Certificate (c) Valid Insurance cover alongwith annexures (d) Receipt of payment made to Mumbai Port Trust in respect of Water Conveyance Charges and Port Dues paid (e) No Objection Certificate issued by Administrative Officer, Bills Branch, Port Department, Operation Service Centre

(i)	Where to apply ? The party to submit application on their letter head as per Application Form (Annexure I) to The Deputy Conservator, Mumbai Port Trust, Port Bhavan, 1^st Floor, S. V. Marg, Mumbai – 400 001 during working days from 10.30 a.m. to 05.30 p.m.
(ii)	How to apply ? A person desirous of having a Harbour Craft Licence shall apply to Deputy Conservator, Mumbai Port Trust. Indian Ports Act and Regulation 4 of Harbour Craft Regulation stipulates this permission. “No person shall use a Harbour Craft and no owner of a Harbour Craft shall cause or permit a Harbour Craft to used within the port or port’s approaches without licence issued.”
(iii)	How to make payment ? (i) Open Voyage Code Number (VCN) at Deputy Conservator’s Office (ii) The payment to be made at Operations Service Centre (OSC). (iii) For opening of VCN, Documents required are Vessel Registration Certificate, Survey and insurance papers
(iv)	How to check status ? If all papers are in order, Licence invariably gets ready in 10 days.
