Permission for hot works for minor repairs / lashing / unlashing to be carried out on vessel in wet docks
The cargo vessels / Repair vessels are allowed to carry-out hot works of urgent nature on board the vessel in wet Docks. Cargo vessels are also allowed to carry out lashing / unlashing of cargo on board the vessel.

| (i) | Vessel Agents obtain the permission from Port Safety & Fire Officer | |
| (ii) | Vessel Agent is granted permission for minor repairs / lashing / unlashing by Dy. Traffic Manager, ID/ P&V Docks | Application Form | Checklist (i) |
| (iii) | Vessel Agents obtain concurrence of Sr. Dock Master ID / P&V Docks for carrying out minor repairs to the vessel | |
| (iv) | Hot work for minor repairs / lashing / unlashing is permitted by S/Supdt concerned on ensuring compliance of due precaution as recommended by Port Safety & Fire Officer till the validity of such permission. | |
| (v) | After expiry of the validity of hot work permission,the agency once again approaches Dy. Traffic Manager ID / P&V Docks for extension of permission & same is granted as per steps detailed above. | |
