Brief History

Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA), pursuant to a competitive bidding process, entered into a License Agreement with Indira Container Terminal Private Limited (ICTPL) for a license period of 30 years.

The Berths are presently handling Ro- Ro Vessels/ Car carriers for export of cars and steel cargo.

Salient Features of OCT Berths:
1. Two Berth Configuration with Quay Length of (700 m x 58 m),
2. Approach trestle from face of Indira Dock.
3. Berth Pocket maintained at (-) 11m CD.
4. Approach Channel and Turning Circle maintained (-) 8m CD.
