Procedure for allotment of stream berth
 

                           

The allotment of suitable anchorage berth to any vessel is provided by the Harbour Master’s Office, Port Department. 

  • The party should submit the application in the prescribed format
     (Annexure I/Annexure II ) for allotment of the Voyage Code Number to   
     
    The Harbour Master, 
    Mumbai Port Trust, 
    Port Bhavan, 1st Floor, 
    S.V.Marg, Mumbai – 400 001 

          during working days from 10.30 a.m. To 5.00 p.m. 

  •        The party has to submit the following documents :

               (i)  Valid Protection and Indemnity Cover for the vessel.

(ii)   Vessels Certificate of Registry.

(iii)  Tonnage Certificate. 

  • After receipt of Voyage Code No., the payment of Vessel Related Charges is to be made at the following address :

          The Administrative Officer,   Port Department,

          Bills Branch, Operation Service Centre,

          P.D’Mello Road, Opp. G.P.O.,

          Mumbai – 400 001 

  • The party should submit the application in the prescribed format (Annexure III) for allotment of Stream Berth alongwith receipt of payment of Vessel Related      Charges to:

          The Harbour Master,

          Mumbai Port Trust,

          Port Bhavan, 1st Floor,

          S.V.Marg, Mumbai – 400 001 

          during working days from 10.30 a.m. To 5.00 p.m. 

·          Pre arrival notification of security (under ISPS Code) is required to be submitted at least 24 hrs prior to the arrival of the vessel.  

·          Vessel seeking anchorage for purposes of repairs, Stream Discharge, Lay up, etc. should furnish full and accurate details of planned activities alongwith application.
