Permission for discharging of import packages from the vessel direct on to the trailers of the consignee is permitted by Dy. Traffic Manager, Cargo Accountal’s Office on a written request from the Custom House Agents / Importer with authorization letter from the consignee and no objection from the Vessel Agent.

 

(A) Steps :  

 

 

(i) The importer  / CHA makes application in Indira Docks office with Vessel Agents’ NOC & authorization from importer.

(iii) As per the above said permission S/Supdt concerned permits direct discharging of the cargo on the consignee / CHA’s trailer / truck at the sole risk and responsibility of the Consignee / CHA.  Checklist
