Scale of rates charged at Bunders 

M/s. M. Dinshaw & Co. Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai are appointed as MBPT gear contractor for a period of one year from 01.02.2008 to 31.01.2009 for supply of gear for cargo handling operations and container stuffing / destuffing in the docks and extended dock areas. Sub: Revised comprehensive Scale of rates effective from 31/12/2006

TAMP has passed an order on 28th September 2006 on the proposal from Mumbai Port Trust for general revision on its Scale of Rates comprising Port related charges, cargo related charges, container related charges, vessel related charges, Bunder related charges and Dry Dock related charges. This has been published in the Gazette of India extraordinary (Part III Section 4) on 1.12.2006 vide Gazette No.178.

2. Accordingly, all charges of Mumbai Port Trust will stand revised and the new rates will be effective from 31.12.2006. The revised scale of rates can be perused on following web sites:

(i) www.mumbaiport.gov.in

(ii) www.tariffauthority.gov.in

3. It may please be noted that w.e.f. 31.12.2006 payment of advance deposit towards all charges will have to be made as per the revised rates.

No. TAMP/57/2005-MBPT - This Authority had passed an Order on 28th September, 2006 in case no. TAMP/57/2005-MBPT relating to the general revision of the Scale of Rates of the Mumbai Port Trust (MBPT). This Order and the (revised) Scale of Rates were notified in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary (Part III, Section 4) on 1st December 2006 vide Gazette no. 178.

2. It has been noticed that some typographical mistake has occurred in the consolidated Scale of Rates notified on 1st December 2006. The existing Section 2.12 in Chapter - II pertaining to Vessel Related Charges in the Scale of Rates of MBPT is replaced with the following :
