Trust acquired ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management certificate on 10th
October 2002 certified by the renowned international certification
agency 'the Det Norske Veritas' for a period of 3 years.
With this glorious achievement Mumbai
Port Trust has committed to provide quality services in the field of
integrated sea port facilities for cargo handling, storage and
delivery of cargo / containers and related services.
Mumbai Port has become the first
major Indian Port to have acquired Quality Certification of 2000
series, which envisages continual improvement of processes and
standards towards customer satisfaction. This is another landmark of
the Mumbai Port Trust's endeavor to ensure quality service to the
customers.
ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management
System has been recertified by the same certifying agency for a
further period of 3 years w.e.f. 10th October 2005. The first Periodic
Audit has been successfully completed on 11th May 2006 for continuance
of Quality Certification.
